Exclusive - Karan Kundrra reacts to Tejasswi Prakash's mother confirming their 2025 wedding; says 'it's not my place to answer—that's for our parents'

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, one of television's most adored couples, often find themselves at the center of wedding speculations. Recently, Tejasswi's mother appeared on Celebrity Masterchef where she revealed on Celebrity Master Chef that the couple is set to get married this year. Karan recently addressed the rumours in an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV. While expressing his love and openness about their relationship, he made it clear that when it comes to marriage, the final say rests with their families.
Reacting to the ongoing buzz, Karan initially joked that it was not Tejasswi's mother but the use of AI, "I think it was AI and not aunty. Woh aunty the he nahi. The Masterchef team is very mischievous. I am telling you they used AI for that sequence (laughs). Today, Artificial Intelligence has advanced a lot and it was not aunty."
However, when asked if he feels the desire to settle down anytime soon, he said, "Yes, haan woh toh hai, bilkul. I think it is a very natural kind of a feeling, woh toh dikhta bhi hai. We are pretty open about our feelings for each other and our families and everything. But when specific questions (regarding marriage) come to me which is not my place to answer, woh hamare parents ka place hai. Toh yeh unse hi poocho humara bolna accha nahi lagta ye...(It's a very natural feeling, and it shows. We are quite open about our feelings for each other, our families, and everything else. But when it comes to specific questions about marriage, it's not my place to answer—that's for our parents. So, it's better to ask them, as we don't feel it's right for us to speak on it.)"
Karan made a comeback to Laughter Chefs season 2 in last night's episode and has teamed up with Elvish Yadav. When asked if he has returned for a cameo, he said, "I am definitely not here for just a cameo. The way the show is progressing, we haven't been informed that it will end soon. My travel plans are set, and my dates are properly scheduled."
Karan and Tejasswi met on Bigg Boss 15 and fell in love with each other.
